NOYA is not a quiet restaurant. It is lacquer red and low-lit, the kitchen works over fire, and the bar keeps going long after the plates are cleared.
The view
Glass on every side, twenty-one storeys up. The city changes through the evening, and so does the room.
The kitchen
Sushi and sashimi cut to order, robata off the coals, and a menu that borrows from Tokyo, Bangkok and Seoul without pretending to be any of them. Every plate is built to be shared.
The lounge
Cocktails built with the same precision as the food, a deep wine list, and champagne by the bottle. Later in the evening the music takes over and dinner turns into the night.
